Obama

This blog officially supports Barack Obama as the next President of the United States. Today, I officially donated to the Obama campaign to help our country change our course into a  new direction. A direction without fear, without war, without discrimination, without divide. 

 

George W. Bush has sent our country on a path where we are despised in this world. We are killing ourselves in a war that never had to be. It's time for change! It's time for us to put our religions and race to aside! It's time we stop putting blame on September 11th on a country which had no connection with the tragedy! It's time we heal the wounds we caused the world in the past seven years due to our own wounds! It's time we grow up and change as a nation; as each of us must do individually. 

 

Barack Obama places hope inside of every American. His rhetoric is not that of just plush and talk, but of reason! Many believe when he speaks he says nothing, has no agenda, and will ultimately fail. However, when immigrants first fought for their freedom from England, they had an agenda. They had a plan. But they also had hope, passion, and the ability to empower every person vying for freedom with something the enemy could never take away; faith and hope in the nation they were creating. 

 

Agenda means nothing. Experience means nothing. This next president is walking into an office unlike any left before it. The world is a drastically different place, and our nation in a drastically different zone than ever before during a time of exchange of office. We must take this opportunity to allow a new change, since our old one has not worked! Washington is broken! The system is broken! The ideas of experience and lobbying are over! Let us start a new nation towards an end to the war, an halt to global warming, an end to discrimination, an end to a religously-led nation, and an end to broken government.
