So, Nintendo has a "game" coming out for its Wii called Wii Fit which ships with a balance board that can calculate your BMI, weight, and your balance. Using this technology, this is how the games surface (ie, snowboarding, or other tilting activities). So, the "game" is released in Japan already and was delayed until May for the United States. Now, the rumor is that the delay was due to the fact that a larger balance board needed to be designed for America.
I found this rather funny that America's problem with obesity is reaching into other forms of media. Why are American gamers so much more overweight than Japanese or European gamers? I'm sure they have bear claws over there, too. Regardless, I found this disturbing and interesting at the same time. Random thought.
