American Idol: Top 9

Well, I will admit this first; Dolly Parton night wasn't as bad as I thought. I thought it was going to be a huge mess; but her songs sound great sung by other people! I feel it's really getting down to a group of good guys, and then a few people who need to go away. First of all, I was very upset Kristy Lee Cook sounded good! I kind of want her to go home, and when she did (what I think was her best performance), I let out a huge "NOOOOOO!". Also, I do have to give Syesha props! I don't think people give her enough credit as they do some other shitty singers (ahem, Michael Johns). I thought her version of the song was very in the middle of Dolly's and Whitney's. If anyone is a singer, it is HARD not to take those runs when you know it sounds kickass. So I give her props not making it Whitney's. I am kind of getting over Archuleta. He's not showing musicianship, he just kind of stands there and sings. Ballads. Always. He needs to get edgy or do something to show versatility. Also, I think Ramiele will be headed home this week. David Cook! Great! Blonde girl at the beginning who's name I forget! Enough said! Jason Castro! AWESOME job! Song fitted him perfectly, Simon!
