So, Ashlee Simpson is about to drop her third album next week, and let me just start out that the Simpson's are an odd group. With Jessica going country and pregger-Ashlee having a huge mash-up of styles, I don't know what to think of this troupe. A little help of Timbaland and Tom Higgens, a few songs on the album are single-worthy. However, the majority of the album is a flop. Ashlee Simpson has come a long way since Autobiography...in the wrong direction. Leaving her pop/rock routes for sounds that don't really suit her hoarse and rocker voice, she's a little helpless on this album. Timbaland's Murder and Tom Higgen's alliance on Little Miss Obsessive (Simpson's second single from the album), are the only worthy songs. Other than that, thank god she added the bonus track and previous single Invisible to make up for the lack of content. Sorry Ashlee...leaking Mimi's album is not going to help your poor attempt. Let home boy Pete Wentz be your money maker, love.
