No real evolution musically, but sometimes that's not a bad thing. E=MC2 is Mariah's attempt to stay on the Cloud 9 she created with EoM...and that attempt is successful. The first song off the album (which should've been the first single, in my opinion) starts the album out right! The album is just incredibly sick. The hip-hop tracks like Side Effects and Migrate are awesome examples of how to blend "the voice" with modern music. The ballads (my favorite Bye Bye) are just what every Mimi fan has come to expect! We know what Chadwick will be listening to while at work tomorrow! Hellur!!!
